After much discussion and some hem-hawwing, we at Windy Acres decided that we needed to add another horse to our lives. An easy-going, reliable mount that would allow us to trail ride or show.
We are proud to introduce the newest addition to our "herd"!! Laura's Fancy! Fancy is a 16 year old Red Chocolate mare out of Ramlin Rex.
She's tried and true and does wonderfully on the trails. A gorgeous horse, for sure, and one that will be loved and doted on in true Windy Acres style.
She has had several foals but we plan on riding and perhaps showing with her.
Welcome Fancy!! You're going to fit in with our other horses just fine!

The very first time I saw Fancy and saw someone riding her, they rode her with a halter and a lead rope attached to it. NO BIT!! Of course, the professional riders made it look easy.
I too rode Fancy with just that same halter and lead rope!! Very easy to ride and gaited like a dream! Simply cluck or kiss to her and she's off and gaiting!!!
