It is with great sorrow that we announce that Mariah's Breeze was hit by lightening during a horrible storm and killed on July 17, 2006. Mariah was our first Rocky Mountain Horse and displayed every day the reason the Rocky is so popular.
We had her cremated and had a very special urn created for her. Mariah will always have a very special place in our hearts and will be sorely missed.

Remember Me
When you hear the thunder Remember me For those are my hoofbeats Upon your heart Deep in the night. Do not fear the lightning And remember me For my hooves strike sparks So you may see In your darkest hour. And when the rain falls Remember me For those are my tears of joy As I run with the sky herd Free of rein and pain and heavy burden. Look up and remember me For you will see the shape of my Fiery head thrown high Among the clouds, Warmed by sun but even more Because you remember me. R.D, Miller

A beautiful black mare with more love and trustworthyness than we could possibly believe. Our first Rocky Mountain Horse and our introduction to the sweetest and most easy to work with horse we've ever encountered. Rest in peace Mariah.
