Richard and I are THRILLED to announce our newest addition to Windy Acres!
Born April 8th, 2010 approximately 9:30 PM an adorable mahagony bay filly! She was premature but is doing wonderfully. She has a dorsal stripe and her tail has frosting in it, which is typical for the dun factor!! We believe we are fortunate enough to have a gorgeous bay dun!!

Whisper is a gorgeous horse of a different color! Tested by UCDavis, she is classified as a Palomino, but we feel she also carries the dun factor. She has NO silver dapple gene. Her mane and tail are tri-colored and she demonstrates all dun points. She surely looks like her sire, Doc Holiday!!!
Whisper throws amazing foals and we are excited to see what color foal we are going to get. According to the Animal Genetics site, we have a 25% chance of Smoky Black, 25% Buckskin, 25% Black and 25% Bay.
